Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 75515-SLB CAT 7 U/FTP plat met RJ45-stekkers

ShiverPeaks 75515-SLB CAT 7 U/FTP flat network cable with RJ45 connectors is a high-performance wired ethernet cable engineered for reliable data transmission in home and small-office environments. The cable features individually foil-shielded pairs (U/FTP) to reduce pair-to-pair crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, while its flat, slim profile allows discreet routing along skirting boards, under carpets, or through narrow conduits. Terminated with RJ45 connectors, this cable supports Gigabit and higher-speed applications where a low-profile, shielded physical link is required.

Advantages

The U/FTP design provides enhanced protection against crosstalk by shielding each twisted pair with foil, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or nearby electrical equipment. The flat construction reduces bending radius conflicts and makes installation simpler in tight spaces compared with round cables. Pre-terminated RJ45 connectors ensure plug-and-play compatibility with standard network ports and switches, enabling immediate deployment without additional tooling.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit ethernet connections in home and office networks
• Installation under carpets, along skirting boards or door thresholds
• Connections near other electrical or data cables where reduced crosstalk is needed
• Temporary or permanent patching between network devices and switches

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 7
• Shielding: U/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs, unshielded overall jacket)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Profile: flat / slim for low-profile routing
• Color: blue
• Length: 5.0 m

How to use

Route the flat cable along the intended path, keeping bends gentle and avoiding tight folds to preserve signal integrity. Insert the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on computers, routers, switches or patch panels until they click into place. For installations under carpets or along skirting boards, secure the cable using low-profile cable clips or adhesive strips to prevent movement and wear. When disconnecting, press the connector clip and pull straight to avoid damaging the plug or the port.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines for long distances; cross power cables at right angles if necessary. Keep connector contacts clean and inspect the cable for visible damage before use. Use the flat profile where space is limited and select an appropriate cable length to minimize excess slack.
