Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 1m groen

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 1m Green networking cable is a short, high-performance Ethernet cable designed for stable wired connections in home and office environments. Constructed to Cat7 standards with S/FTP shielding, this 1 metre cable supports high-speed data transfer while reducing electromagnetic interference. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to maintain conductivity and resist corrosion. Its green jacket provides an easily identifiable cable color for neat routing and simple network organization.

Advantages

This Cat7 S/FTP cable offers improved noise rejection compared with unshielded alternatives, which helps preserve signal integrity in areas with multiple electronic devices or close cable runs. The short 1 m length reduces excess slack and signal attenuation for connections between nearby devices. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts promote reliable contact and longer connector life. The cable's flexible outer sheath simplifies installation in tight spaces while the visible green color aids cable management and fault identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and network switches over short distances
• High-speed internet access for routers and modems in home or small-office setups
• Linking networked devices in media centers, gaming rigs, and AV installations
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7
• Length: 1 metre
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Green
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper (specifically for Cat7 performance)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the router, switch, or modem. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and avoid running it parallel to power lines for long distances. For best performance, use this cable for direct wired connections between components located within a metre of each other.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep the cable away from high-voltage power cables and avoid excessive bending at the connector ends. Use the 1 m length for short fixed connections behind desks, entertainment units, or network racks where minimal slack improves tidiness and signal quality.
