Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-22300 0,3 m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-22300 0.3m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transfer within local networks. Constructed to the Cat6 performance class, it supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and uses unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) wiring with standard RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts. The cable's compact 0.3 m length and grey jacket make it suitable for connecting devices in dense setups, patch panels, switches and within office or home network racks.

Advantages

This Cat6 U/UTP cable provides predictable gigabit Ethernet performance for short connections and minimizes signal loss across its length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve electrical conductivity and resist corrosion for consistent connections over time. The compact length reduces cable clutter and helps maintain organized network racks and workstations. The grey outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that blends with most equipment and furnishings.

Suitable for

• Connecting a workstation or server to a switch within the same rack or desk area
• Patching between network ports and patch panels in small network cabinets
• Short direct connections between routers, modems and network appliances
• Temporary or permanent links in home and small office network setups

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance
• Topology: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 0.3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Maximum data rate: 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Color: grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the matching Ethernet ports on your devices until the locking tab clicks into place. Ensure both devices support gigabit Ethernet for optimal throughput. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connector and route it along cable management channels or clips to prevent strain. For initial testing, verify link lights on both devices and run a speed test if required to confirm the effective connection speed.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat6 cable for close-range connections where minimal slack is needed. Keep it away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources to reduce interference. For longer runs or environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider using a shielded cable or cables with higher category rating.
