Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35020 1m Cat7 U/UTP grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35020 1m Cat7 U/UTP Grey networking cable provides a compact, single-metre connection option for high-speed network links. Engineered to support data rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s, this cable uses Cat7 category wiring with U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transmission. The grey jacket and slim profile suit both professional rack environments and desktop setups where a short, durable patch cable is needed.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable combines high bandwidth capability with U/UTP shielding to reduce external electromagnetic interference on the twisted pairs. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact reliability over repeated insertions. The one-metre length minimizes excess cable clutter while offering full Gigabit and multi-Gigabit performance for switches, routers, modems, NAS units, and network interface cards that support higher throughput.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, and patch panels in rack or desk installations
• Short-distance links between network equipment and servers or NAS
• High-bandwidth audio/video streaming and large file transfers
• Home and small office network upgrades requiring Cat7 performance

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 1 m
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall foil shielding with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Grey
• Conductor arrangement: twisted pairs suitable for high-frequency transmission

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector firmly into the network port of your switch, router, computer or other compatible device until the latch clicks. Use the one-metre length to create tidy short links between adjacent equipment; avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable to prevent sharp kinks. For optimal performance, ensure that both connected devices support the required network speeds and configure link settings on your network equipment as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable for short, high-speed connections where minimal slack is required. Avoid running the cable parallel to large power cables or heavy electrical equipment to reduce potential interference, and check connectors periodically for wear if the cable is frequently disconnected and reconnected.
