Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35042 geel 3m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35042 Yellow 3m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable is a 3-metre Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Built to Category 7 performance, it supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts. The cable uses an unshielded pair over overall unshielded (U/UTP) construction in a bright yellow jacket for easy identification in networking environments.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable high-bandwidth transmission suitable for demanding network environments while maintaining flexible handling thanks to its 3 m length and standard RJ-45 terminations. Gold-plated contacts reduce contact resistance and improve corrosion resistance. The yellow jacket allows quick visual identification among multiple cables and helps organise patch panels and server racks.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and network interfaces in offices and data closets
• Patch connections between wall outlets and network equipment
• Home networks requiring high-speed wired links for media streaming and gaming
• Temporary or permanent cabling in small server rooms and AV installations

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7 performance
• Length: 3 metres
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with unshielded overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other end to the corresponding port on a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted into ports until they click to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, kinks and sources of electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal signal quality. For permanent installations, label both ends for easier management and troubleshooting.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or large electrical equipment. Use cable management accessories to prevent sharp bends and strain on connectors. When used in structured cabling, ensure connectors and patch panels are rated for Cat7 performance to preserve the cable's transmission characteristics.
