Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35101

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35101 is a 25 m Cat7 networking cable with U/UTP shielding designed for high-speed wired connections. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, this blue cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for demanding network environments where reduced interference and consistent throughput are required.

Advantages

The cable's Cat7 specification and U/UTP shielding provide improved protection against external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce contact resistance and corrosion risk, ensuring a stable physical connection and consistent performance. A 25 m length offers extended reach for connecting devices across rooms or between racks while maintaining appropriate performance characteristics for modern Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks and smart home hubs
• Office LAN connections and desktop workstations
• Server room patching and network racks with medium-length runs
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, online gaming, and large file transfers

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 25 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector contacts: gold-plated
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Color: blue

How to use

Unroll the cable and route it between devices, avoiding sharp bends and tight coils to preserve signal quality. Plug the RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet port of your router, switch, computer or other network device until it clicks into place. For installations in ceilings or behind furniture, secure the cable using cable clips or ties and avoid running it parallel to power lines to minimise potential interference. If terminating or custom-length adjustments are required, ensure proper tools and connectors compatible with Cat7 performance are used.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid excessive bending radius; use proper strain relief at both ends. When connecting equipment in environments with significant interference, verify that connected devices and patch panels support shielded cabling to take full advantage of the U/UTP design.
