Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41066-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP 7,5 m wit

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41066-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is a 7.5 metre white Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Compliant with Cat8.1 specifications, it supports multi-gigabit data transfer and includes fully shielded pairs with an overall foil plus individually foil-shielded twisted pairs (F/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable terminates in RJ-45 connectors on both ends and is intended for installations where performance and signal integrity are important.

Advantages

F/FTP construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded or partially shielded cables. Cat8.1 compatibility enables reliable high-frequency performance suitable for modern LAN equipment and network switches. The 7.5 m length balances reach and manageability for rack, wall, or desktop setups, while the white jacket offers a discreet appearance in visible installations. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common networking ports.

Suitable for

• High-speed local area network (LAN) connections between switches and servers
• Workstation or desktop connections requiring multi-gigabit throughput
• Structured cabling runs in office or home environments where shielding is needed
• Installations near sources of interference such as power lines or dense cable bundles

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: White
• Application: Ethernet, multi-gigabit LAN

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch, or network card) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the peer device. Ensure connectors are fully seated and locking tabs engage to maintain a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radius recommendations from networking equipment manufacturers. If used in shielded installations, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment to maximize shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable within a structured cabling plan and pair it with compatible multi-gigabit network hardware. Avoid running the cable parallel to AC mains or large electrical devices when possible, and confirm connector compatibility before installation.
