Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75511-O-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-O-SET5 is a 1 m Cat7 networking cable engineered for high-speed wired connections. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain stable data transmission. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated with gold to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. Its orange jacket provides clear visual identification in multi-cable environments while fitting both home and office network setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around individual pairs and an overall shield helps preserve signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Cat7 performance supports higher bandwidths and improved crosstalk protection compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and reduced signal loss over time. The 1 m length is convenient for short runs between devices such as switches, routers and networked workstations, and the colored jacket aids cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network printers to switches or routers in home and small office networks
• Short patch connections in server racks, patch panels and wall outlets
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cables are preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 1 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold
• Jacket color: Orange

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other connector into the port of your switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the retaining clip engages to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and places where the jacket could be pinched; maintain bend radii appropriate for network cabling to preserve performance. For installations within racks or conduits, use proper strain relief to avoid connector stress.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for short, high-quality wired connections where shielding and reliable RJ-45 contacts are required. Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines for extended distances and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.
