Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75511-SET5 1m Cat7 S/FTP grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-SET5 1m Cat7 S/FTP Grey is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for fast, reliable wired network connections. Constructed to Cat7 specifications with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 terminations, it supports high data rates while reducing electromagnetic interference. The cable's 1 metre length and neutral grey jacket make it suitable for short runs between devices in home and office environments.

Advantages

The cable's S/FTP design combines overall foil shielding with individually braided shields around each twisted pair, providing robust protection against crosstalk and external noise. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Cat7 performance supports higher bandwidth and stable throughput for demanding network tasks. A compact 1 m length minimizes excess cabling and helps maintain tidy setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, network switches and routers over short distances
• High-bandwidth applications such as 4K streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Home offices and small business workstations where interference-resistant cabling is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually braided pair shields)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 m
• Color: Grey

How to use

Ensure both network devices are powered off or in a stable state before connecting. Insert the RJ-45 plug firmly into the Ethernet ports of the devices until it clicks into place. For optimal signal integrity, avoid tight bending or kinking of the cable and keep it clear of high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources. If connecting through patch panels or wall outlets, confirm that terminations are compatible with Cat7 cabling.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat7 S/FTP cable for short, high-performance links where shielding and bandwidth are important. Store unused cables coiled loosely to prevent damage, and replace if the jacket or connectors show visible wear.
