Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.25 0,25m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.25 0.25m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a short patch lead designed for high-speed data connections in dense or compact installations. With Cat6a performance and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports reliable transmission rates and reduced electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for professional and home networking setups.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers improved alien crosstalk and EMI protection compared with unshielded alternatives, which helps maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple adjacent cables or electronic equipment. The short 0.25 m length minimizes cable clutter and insertion loss for patching between closely spaced ports. Fitted RJ-45 connectors provide broad compatibility with standard networking hardware.

Suitable for

• Patching between switch and server in racks with limited depth
• Short connections in network cabinets, patch panels and wall-mounted outlets
• High-speed links for workstations and small form-factor devices
• Environments where reduced interference is required, such as installations near power or signal equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with foil around each pair)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Grey
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission up to Cat6a performance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of the source device (for example a switch or router) and the other connector to the destination device (such as a server, workstation, or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Because the cable is short, plan port placement to avoid strain on connectors and to maintain good airflow in racks or cabinets.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling; keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible. Use this short Cat6a S/FTP cable for last-meter patching in rack environments or where minimal cable slack is required.
