Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-H0.25 0,25m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-H0.25 0.25m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for reliable high-speed wired connections. It uses Cat6-rated twisted pairs with S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure consistent signal transfer and improved contact durability. The compact 0.25 m length and neutral grey jacket make this cable suitable for short runs in racks, patch panels, network switches, and desktop setups where a tidy, low-profile connection is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs) construction provides robust protection against external interference and minimizes internal pair-to-pair crosstalk for stable data transmission at Cat6 performance levels. Gold‑plated RJ-45 contacts promote reliable connectivity and resist corrosion for long-term use. The short 0.25 m length reduces cable clutter and signal degradation over short distances while the flexible grey jacket allows neat routing in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network switches and patch panels
• Connecting network equipment in rack units or server cabinets
• Desktop or office workstations with limited cable space
• Temporary setups where short, reliable links are needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 — supports gigabit Ethernet and relevant data rates within Cat6 limits
• Length: 0.25 m (short patch cable)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid plus foil around each pair
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector firmly into the network ports of your devices until it clicks. Use this 0.25 m Cat6 S/FTP cable for short interconnections where minimal slack is required, such as between adjacent switch ports or to connect a device mounted close to a patch panel. Avoid sharp bends near the connector boots and do not apply excessive pulling force. For installations inside metal racks, ensure connectors are seated properly to maintain shielding continuity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in environments with potential electromagnetic interference and in compact setups where short, direct connections improve cable management. Verify that connected equipment supports Cat6 speeds and ensure connectors are fully inserted to maintain optimum signal quality.
