Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-HW-SET5 1m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HW-SET5 1m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable provides a compact, shielded connection for Ethernet networks. Designed for short runs between devices, this cable uses Cat6 specification conductors and an S/FTP shielding structure to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, it delivers consistent signal integrity for data, voice and video transmission in residential and business environments. The white jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates easily into existing installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individual pair shields to improve protection against external interference and minimize pair-to-pair crosstalk. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs enhance corrosion resistance and ensure a stable, low-resistance connection. The 1 metre length is convenient for connecting nearby equipment while avoiding excess cabling. Cat6 construction supports higher bandwidths and improved performance compared with earlier cable categories for short-distance runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches or patch panels to nearby devices
• Home offices and small business workstations
• VoIP phones, IP cameras and streaming devices
• Patching in structured cabling racks and network cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 metre
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Color: white jacket

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or device and insert the opposite connector into the target device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks in the cable and keep the cable routed away from high-voltage power lines and sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use the 1m length for short, visible connections where minimal slack is desired. For structured installations, maintain proper bend radius and avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power cables to preserve signal quality.
