Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75713-R rood 3m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75713-R Red 3m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a 3‑meter Ethernet patch cable built to Cat6a performance guidelines. It uses S/FTP shielding (overall foil plus individual pair foil) to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain high signal integrity for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high‑speed network applications. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors on both ends provide a reliable contact surface and corrosion resistance, while the red jacket offers clear visual identification in crowded cabling environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable provides improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to sustain stable throughput over the full 3 m length. The gold‑plated contacts promote durable connections and minimize contact resistance. The cable’s flexible outer jacket allows easy routing in racks, patch panels and office setups, and the bright red color simplifies cable management and fault finding.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in local area networks
• High‑performance workstations, servers and network switches
• Patch panels, wall outlets and short equipment interconnects
• Environments where reduced EMI and clear cable identification are required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6a performance
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45, gold‑plated contacts
• Length: 3 meters
• Data rate support: Up to 10 Gbps over suitable infrastructure
• Color: Red
• Cable use: Patch cable for short links

How to use

Connect each RJ‑45 plug to the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices such as switches, routers, network interface cards or wall outlets. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends near the connector and do not damage the cable jacket or shielding. Use the cable for short runs up to its 3 m length, routing it alongside or through cable management paths to maintain organization and airflow around equipment.

Recommendations

When deploying the cable in areas with significant electrical interference, keep it separated from power cables and large transformers where possible. Use the red color to mark critical links or segregate networks by function. Periodically inspect connectors for contamination and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs show mechanical damage.
