Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75725-AB 15m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75725-AB 15m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a 15-meter, blue Ethernet cable designed for high-speed network connections. It uses Category 6a specifications and S/FTP (foil shielded, individually foil-wrapped pairs with an overall braid) construction to provide improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives. Both ends are terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors to ensure compatibility with routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet devices.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable delivers support for high-bandwidth applications and reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over distances up to 15 meters. The S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external EMI, which helps maintain consistent data transfer rates in environments with multiple cables or nearby electronic equipment. The pre-terminated RJ-45 plugs offer plug-and-play convenience and a standardized connection form factor.

Suitable for

• Home and small office wired Ethernet connections
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels and NAS devices
• High-speed internet access and streaming
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within a single room or rack

Key specifications

• Length: 15 meters
• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Blue
• Supports: Up to 10 Gbps Ethernet at supported distances

How to use

Uncoil the cable and connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch, or modem) and the other end to the target device (computer, NAS, or patch panel). Avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. If routing through cable management systems or conduits, ensure the cable is not compressed or tightly pinched to prevent signal degradation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required, such as near power supplies, dense cable bundles, or equipment racks. Keep runs under 15 meters for guaranteed 10 Gbps performance and ensure connectors are fully seated. When installing in mixed-cable environments, separate power and signal cables where possible to minimize EMI.
