Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75725-W 15m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75725-W 15m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for home and office networks. Constructed to Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 15-metre white cable is designed for stable, high-speed data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable supports demanding applications such as streaming, video conferencing, large file transfers and general LAN connectivity while maintaining a neat visual appearance due to its white finish.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall foil plus individually foil-shielded pairs) reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference for more reliable signal integrity. The Cat6a specification allows for higher bandwidth and improved headroom compared to lower-category cables, enabling stable 10 Gbps performance over appropriate distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance for long-term reliable connections. The 15 m length offers flexibility in device placement without relying on wireless links.

Suitable for

• 10/1 Gbps wired Ethernet connections in home and small office networks
• High-definition video streaming and video conferencing
• Network-attached storage (NAS) and large file transfers
• Connecting switches, routers, desktops, gaming consoles and smart TVs

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance level
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 15 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Color: White
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper (solid or stranded as per application)

How to use

Route the cable between networking devices avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large motors or fluorescent lighting fixtures. Insert RJ-45 plugs firmly into the Ethernet ports of your router, switch, computer or other networked device until they click. If installing permanently, secure the cable along walls or cable channels with appropriate clips, leaving gentle slack at connectors to reduce strain. For optimal performance, maintain proper separation from power cabling and avoid tight coils that can degrade signal quality.

Recommendations

Use the ShiverPeaks Cat6a S/FTP cable for critical wired links where stable high throughput and reduced interference are required. For installations requiring longer runs or outdoor use, select cabling rated for those specific conditions and keep connectors protected from moisture and mechanical stress.
