Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75750-H 50m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75750-H 50m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable delivers a long, continuous link for high-speed Ethernet connections. Constructed to Cat6 standard with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this grey cable is intended for reliable data transmission over extended runs. It is suitable for installations where signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference are important, supporting applications that require stable gigabit performance and low error rates.

Advantages

S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction minimizes crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving overall signal quality compared with unshielded alternatives. Cat6 performance supports higher bandwidth and more consistent throughput for gigabit networks. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact conductivity and corrosion resistance for more reliable long-term connections. The 50 m length enables a single continuous run for many home, office or equipment-room layouts without additional couplers.

Suitable for

• Wired home network backbones and apartment installs
• Office LAN connections between switches, routers, and workstations
• Gaming rigs and streaming setups requiring low latency and stable throughput
• Audio/video systems and IP cameras where interference reduction is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 50 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey

How to use

Route the cable from the source device to the destination ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks that could damage the internal pairs. Terminate the cable into RJ-45 ports on network devices or patch panels; the pre-attached connectors are ready for plug-and-play use. Keep the cable run separated from high-voltage power lines and large electrical equipment to maintain shielding effectiveness. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties without compressing the jacket excessively.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, test the installed link with a network tester to verify continuity and attenuation. Use the cable within recommended Cat6 distance limits for the intended data rate, and avoid bundling large numbers of cables tightly for long distances to reduce potential inductive interference.
