Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.6 S/FTP 3,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.6 S/FTP 3.0m networking cable provides a 3.0 meter connection designed for stable high-speed data transmission. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair) shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold, this green cable balances signal integrity and corrosion resistance for home or office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting consistent throughput over longer runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and lower contact resistance. The 3.0 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across desks, racks or workstations while the cable’s jacket provides mechanical protection and straightforward cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network switches in offices and home networks
• Wiring networked printers, NAS units and media players
• Temporary or permanent patching in structured cabling setups
• Streaming high-definition video and online gaming where stable bandwidth is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 3.0 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Color: green

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on your networking devices until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines and large transformers. For structured installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties and maintain service loops where necessary to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within typical Cat.6 distance limitations for horizontal runs and avoid exceeding bend radius recommendations. Verify connector seating and test the link with a network tester after installation to confirm continuity and expected signal quality.
