Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP slank 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP Slim 7.5m networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for stable, high-speed data transmission. Featuring U/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, this 7.5 metre cable supports reliable signal integrity and reduced crosstalk. Its slim jacket and flexible construction make it suitable for installations where space is limited, while the blue outer sheath provides a visible, professional appearance in home and office networks.

Advantages

U/FTP shielding around individual pairs and an overall braid improve resistance to electromagnetic interference and help maintain consistent throughput over longer cable runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance for sustained connection quality. The slim form factor reduces bulk and improves bend radius, simplifying routing through cable channels, behind furniture, and in crowded patch panels.

Suitable for

• High-bandwidth applications such as gaming and 4K/8K streaming
• Home and small office local area networks
• Connections between routers, switches, NAS devices, and PCs
• Installations in tight spaces, behind desks, or inside conduits

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid plus individually Foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: Copper (solid/stranded construction as per manufacturer design)
• Color: Blue
• Profile: Slim / low-profile jacket for flexible routing

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to a network source such as a router or switch and the other end to the target device, for example a PC, NAS or game console. Ensure connectors are fully seated to the click stop to maintain mechanical and electrical contact. When routing the cable, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; follow standard cable management practices by using clips, ties or cable channels to secure the run and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and strong EMI sources. Use the slim Cat.7 cable for short to medium runs within homes or offices and pair it with quality network hardware to take advantage of higher bandwidth and improved shielding performance.
