Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks SP720-SLG 10m Cat6 U/UTP Groen

The ShiverPeaks SP720-SLG 10m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable in green provides a straightforward wired connection for home and office networks. This Cat6 cable supports high-speed data transfer and is terminated with RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transmission. The U/UTP construction reduces external electromagnetic interference while keeping the cable flexible and easy to route.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with earlier category cables, enabling stable connections for demanding applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The U/UTP shielding offers protection against external noise without adding substantial bulk, and the 10 m length covers typical room-to-room or equipment-to-switch runs. The green jacket provides easy visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, printers, and NAS devices to routers or switches
• Wiring home network setups and small office LANs
• High-definition video streaming and online gaming where stable wired connectivity is preferred
• Temporary or permanent patching in server rooms and network cabinets where a visible cable color is helpful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (meets Cat6 electrical performance)
• Length: 10 meters
• Conductor arrangement: twisted pairs
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with internal pairing, designed to reduce EMI)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: green

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a router, switch, or wall outlet. Ensure both ends are fully inserted until the connector latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain gentle curves where the cable changes direction. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large motors, fluorescent lighting ballasts, or unshielded power cables.

Recommendations

The cable is suitable for indoor use in residential and commercial environments; when installing in structured cabling runs or through ceiling voids, follow local building codes and best practices for cable management. If longer runs or additional shielding are required, consider selecting a different category or shielded variant tailored to the specific installation needs.
