Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 0,25 m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 0.25m networking cable is a short, high-performance patch cable designed for reliable local connections. With Category 6 specification and U/UTP construction, the cable supports high-speed data transfer and reduced crosstalk in compact installations. The cable is finished in white and terminated with RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent conductivity and low contact resistance for frequent connections.

Advantages

This Cat. 6 U/UTP cable combines a compact 0.25 m length with Category 6 performance characteristics, making it suitable for tight spaces and short runs between devices. The U/UTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference without increasing cable diameter significantly. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve signal integrity and durability. The white jacket provides a discreet appearance for home or office environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in patch panels, switches and routers within racks or dense setups
• Short link between desktop devices and wall ports in office or home workstations
• Temporary or permanent short-range connections where excess cable length is undesirable

Key specifications

• Category: Cat. 6
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with overall unshielded or U/UTP construction)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: White
• Application: Ethernet networking up to Cat6 performance levels

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network ports on your devices, such as a switch, router, computer or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends or strain at the connector. For neat installations in racks or workstations, use cable management ties or guides to secure the short patch cable without over-tightening. Verify link LEDs or network status indicators on connected equipment to confirm a successful connection.

Recommendations

Use this 0.25 m Cat. 6 cable for short, high-quality connections where minimal slack is required. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference, and do not subject the cable to repeated kinking or excessive tensile force to maintain long-term performance.
