Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 7.5m networking cable provides a 7.5 meter connection with U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors plated in gold for improved conductivity. Designed for use in home and office networks, the bright yellow jacket improves visibility in cable bundles and equipment racks. The cable supports Cat 6 performance levels suitable for high-speed data transfer and reliable wired connections between switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices.

Advantages

This Cat 6 cable combines unshielded twisted pair construction with an overall U/UTP shield to reduce external interference while maintaining flexibility for routing. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure stable electrical contact and lower contact resistance over time. The 7.5 meter length covers typical distances between workstations and wall outlets or between racks without excess slack. The yellow outer jacket enables easy identification and organized cable management in mixed environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops and VoIP phones to switches or wall ports
• Patch cabling between network switches and patch panels in small racks
• Home networking for streaming, gaming and large file transfers
• Temporary or permanent office network installations requiring visible cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 7.5 meters
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper conductors
• Outer jacket color: yellow
• Typical applications: Ethernet 10/100/1000BASE-T and gigabit networks

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other plug to the corresponding port on a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and the cable is not kinked or tightly bent at sharp angles to preserve signal integrity. Route the cable along cable trays or tie points and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. For patch panel installations, confirm port labeling before connecting to maintain accurate network topology.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, test the link after installation using a network tester or link status indicators on networking equipment. Maintain bend radius greater than the cable diameter recommendation, and avoid stretching the cable. Use the yellow jacket to mark or group connections by function or VLAN when organizing multiple runs.
