Netwerkkabel Wentronic 51532 zwart 5 m Cat6a U/UTP

The Wentronic 51532 networking cable is a 5 m Cat6a U/UTP patch cable in black, designed for high-speed data transmission between network devices. It is fitted with RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts and includes one 90° angled connector to facilitate connections in confined spaces. The cable uses copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors and a robust outer sheath to provide stable signal transfer for home and office networks supporting high bandwidth applications.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable supports higher frequencies and increased data rates compared with lower-category cables, offering reliable performance for gigabit and multi-gigabit networks. The gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and resist corrosion, while the 90° angled plug helps connect devices in tight installations. The U/UTP construction and durable jacket deliver practical flexibility and handling for everyday use.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Wired connections between PCs, switches and routers in home networks
• Office workstation cabling and patch panel links
• Connecting networked printers, NAS devices and media players
• Temporary or permanent setups where a 5 m cable length and angled connector are useful

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (enhanced Ethernet performance)
• Length: 5 m
• Conductor type: copper-clad aluminium (CCA)
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs, overall unshielded)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts; one 90° angled plug
• Color: black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the Wentronic 51532 cable to the Ethernet port of your device and the other end to a switch, router or wall outlet. Use the 90° angled plug where space is limited to avoid bending the cable near the connector. Ensure connectors are fully inserted into ports until the latch engages. For best signal integrity, avoid sharp bends, kinks and placing the cable alongside high-power mains wiring.

Recommendations

For stable network performance, route the cable with gentle curves, avoid excessive pulling force, and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use this Cat6a cable for local network links requiring higher bandwidth, and verify device compatibility when CCA conductors are a consideration for long runs or POE applications.
