Netwerkkabel Wentronic 61107 5m Cat8.1 S/FTP RJ-45 wit

The Wentronic 61107 is a 5 m Cat8.1 S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors in white. It supports data rates up to 40 GBit/s when used with Cat8.1-compliant components, making it suitable for integration into high-speed Ethernet links without immediate need to switch to fibre optics. The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for stable transmission, and the RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network ports.

Advantages

The cable provides Cat8.1 performance allowing up to 40 GBit/s in appropriate installations, and its S/FTP shielding improves noise immunity and signal integrity. Standard RJ-45 connectors enable straightforward connection to existing network devices and infrastructure. Its 5 m length offers flexibility for typical office or home setups while the white jacket delivers a neutral appearance.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections up to 40 GBit/s (with Cat8.1 components)
• Server rooms and network closets requiring short-to-medium runs
• Home or office workstations and networked devices

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet ports of your network devices, switches or couplers that support Cat8.1 or backward-compatible standards. Route the 5 m cable without sharp bends and avoid close parallel runs near high-power electrical cables to maintain signal quality. When integrating into a Cat8.1 link, ensure all components (patch panels, couplers, and installation cables) meet Cat8.1 specifications to achieve maximum performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable in short-to-medium length runs within data centers or offices and pair it only with Cat8.1-compliant RJ45 couplers and installation cables to realize up to 40 GBit/s. Inspect connectors for damage before use and avoid kinking or crushing the cable.
