Netwerkkabel X-Shield XS-CAT6-UUTP-BLK-1M zwart U/UTP 1m

The X-Shield XS-CAT6-UUTP-BLK-1M Black U/UTP 1m is a Category 6 patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office networks. With a one-meter length and RJ-45 connectors, this cable supports high-speed data transmission and fits standard networking equipment. The black jacket provides a discreet, professional look while the U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall braid) design balances interference protection and flexibility suitable for typical structured cabling setups.

Advantages

The cable offers Category 6 performance for gigabit Ethernet and reduced crosstalk compared to lower-category cables. Its one-meter length makes it practical for connecting nearby devices without excess slack. The robust RJ-45 connectors ensure secure plug-in connections, and the black outer sheath resists wear and blends into most environments. The U/UTP construction provides an overall screening layer that helps maintain signal integrity in installations where moderate electromagnetic interference may occur.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and networked printers within racks or desktop setups
• Short patch connections in home office or small business networks
• Links between wall outlets and devices in structured cabling systems
• Environments where a discreet black cable appearance is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 1 meter
• Cable type: U/UTP (overall braided shield with unshielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Black
• Typical use: Ethernet / Gigabit network connections

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices such as a computer, switch or router until the connector latch clicks. Ensure the cable is not tightly bent near the connectors and keep bend radius within manufacturer-recommended limits to preserve signal performance. For structured cabling, route the cable through cable management channels or behind furniture to avoid tension and reduce potential interference from power cabling.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 cable for connections up to 1 meter in length and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if the outer sheath or connector is compromised.
