Netwerkkabel zwart Cat7 S/FTP ShiverPeaks 75515-S-SET5 5m

The ShiverPeaks Cat7 S/FTP networking cable in black, length 5 m, is designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed to the Cat7 standard with S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) shielding and RJ-45 gold-plated connectors, the cable supports high bandwidth and minimizes electromagnetic interference for stable connections between routers, switches, PCs and networked devices.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable offers improved signal integrity through S/FTP shielding that isolates individual pairs and the overall cable from external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance contact conductivity and resist corrosion. The 5 m length provides flexible placement options without excess cable slack, while the robust jacket and connector strain relief increase durability under regular use.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, routers and network switches
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Home office and small business wired networks
• Connecting NAS devices, media players and smart home hubs

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 7 (Cat7)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 meters
• Color: Black
• Typical performance: Suitable for Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet
• Cable construction: Twisted pairs with enhanced insulation

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port on your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the Ethernet port on your computer, media player or network device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best results, test the link speed and verify network settings after installation.

Recommendations

Use this cable for fixed wired installations where reliable high-speed performance and reduced interference are required. Avoid tight bending radii near connectors and keep the cable away from mains power lines and large motors to preserve signal quality.
