Netwerkverlengingsset ShiverPeaks 75001-SET4 Cat. 6 4-pack

ShiverPeaks 75001-SET4 Network Extension Set is a Cat. 6 4‑pack designed to extend wired Ethernet connections in environments that require additional ports or shorter cable runs. Each unit supports Cat6 performance suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and common LAN deployments, offering a compact solution for adding network connectivity without running new long cable runs. The set is intended for home offices, small offices, AV installations and similar setups where flexible placement of networked devices is needed.

Advantages

The Cat. 6 specification ensures support for high-speed Gigabit traffic and backward compatibility with lower Ethernet categories. The four-piece set provides multiple extension points so you can distribute network access across a room or between furniture and equipment racks. Units are designed for straightforward installation and reliable signal transmission over short to medium distances, reducing the need for disruptive rewiring.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet connections for home office computers and printers
• Adding temporary or permanent network ports in small office layouts
• AV equipment connectivity in media rooms and conference areas
• Network access for devices located away from the main switch or router

Key specifications

• Category: Cat. 6 performance suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Quantity: four extension units in one set
• Usage distance: designed for short to medium Ethernet extension runs
• Connection type: RJ45-compatible network extension interface
• Compatibility: compatible with standard Ethernet cabling and network devices

How to use

Connect one end of an existing Ethernet cable or a patch cable to the primary unit and attach a patch cable from the extension unit to the target device. Repeat the process for additional units as required. Place units where they provide convenient access to devices, ensuring cables are not sharply bent and are routed to avoid interference. Verify link lights and network connectivity after installation to ensure proper operation.

Recommendations

For best performance, use high-quality Cat6 patch cables, keep individual extension runs within recommended Ethernet distance limits, and avoid routing cables near large sources of electrical interference. Regularly check connections for secure seating and consider using shielded cabling in environments with heavy electromagnetic noise.
