OPTEX BXS-ST(W) outdoor dual PIR bewegingsmelder met dierimmuniteit, 180° detectie, 12m bereik, IP55

Set the perimeter with confidence: the OPTEX BXS-ST(W) is a dual-element passive infrared detector engineered for outdoor areas where pets roam freely. It pairs a 180° field of view with four independent detection zones to minimise false alarms while still capturing human intruders.

Overview

The BXS-ST(W) from OPTEX combines advanced SMDA logic with a robust ASA resin housing, delivering reliable outdoor motion detection in temperatures from -20°C to +50°C. Its pet immunity function ignores animals up to 50cm tall, allowing you to secure your property without constant nuisance triggers. With an IP55 rating, it stands up to rain, dust, and harsh weather conditions, making it an ideal choice for residential gardens, industrial perimeters, and commercial sites.

What stands out

• Dual PIR channels with 180° coverage (90° per side) and four detection zones (two per side, upper and lower)
• Pet-friendly detection: immune to animals up to 50cm (20 inches) in height
• Adjustable detection range from 2.5m to 12m per side
• Selectable N.C. or N.O. alarm output for flexible integration with alarm panels
• SMDA (Signal Measured Detection Algorithm) logic reduces false alarms caused by environmental interference
• Weatherproof IP55-rated housing in UV-stable ASA resin
