Optische kabel ShiverPeaks 69002-20 20 m Toslink 2,2 mm

The ShiverPeaks 69002-20 is a 20-meter Toslink optical audio cable with 2.2 mm connector diameter designed to transmit digital audio signals between devices with Toslink ports. The cable uses optical fiber to carry stereo and multichannel digital audio without electrical continuity between source and receiver, reducing susceptibility to electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. Its length makes it suitable for setups that require a long-distance digital audio link such as connecting AVR units, soundbars, TVs and consoles across larger rooms.

Advantages

This Toslink cable provides optical isolation for digital audio, eliminating ground loop hum and minimizing interference from nearby electronics. The 2.2 mm Toslink connectors ensure a standardized fit with most consumer audio equipment that uses optical ports. With a 20 m length, the cable enables flexible placement of audio components while maintaining digital signal integrity for PCM and multichannel audio where supported by connected devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or AV receivers across larger rooms
• Linking gaming consoles or media players to home theater systems
• Establishing a digital audio path where electrical isolation is required
• Temporary or permanent installations in living rooms, media rooms or meeting spaces

Key specifications

• Cable type: optical (fiber) digital audio
• Connector type: Toslink (optical) to Toslink (optical)
• Connector diameter: 2.2 mm
• Length: 20.0 m
• Supported signals: digital stereo and multichannel PCM where device-compatible

How to use

Insert the Toslink connector securely into the optical output on the source device and into the optical input on the receiving device, ensuring the connector keys align and light exposure to the fiber end is avoided. Power on both devices and select the optical input on the receiver or soundbar. The cable requires no additional drivers or power and carries the digital audio signal as long as both devices support the same digital audio format.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the optical cable and do not stretch or pull excessively. Route the cable away from heavy foot-traffic areas or equipment that may crush it. If you need to pass through doorways or around corners, allow gentle curvature and secure the cable with clips or ties that do not compress the fiber. For optimal performance, confirm both source and receiver support the desired audio format and verify the optical ports are free of dust before connection.
