The Ruckus T350c combines durable, weather-resistant construction with an omni-directional antenna design to deliver uniform coverage around the installation point. It supports common outdoor deployment scenarios, offering simplified installation and reduced need for additional directional antenna planning. The device is engineered to maintain wireless performance under varying environmental conditions, ensuring continuous client connectivity for typical outdoor applications.

Suitable for

• Public outdoor Wi‑Fi in parks and plazas
• Passenger and transit Wi‑Fi at bus stops and small stations
• Campuses, courtyards and common outdoor areas
• Temporary event sites and outdoor venues

Key specifications

• Form factor: outdoor omni-directional access point with rugged, weather-resistant enclosure
• Coverage: omni-directional radio pattern for 360° client coverage around the unit
• Deployment: designed for external mounting on poles, walls, or similar structures
• Network integration: supports standard WLAN architectures and can join managed wireless networks
• Environmental resilience: built to withstand outdoor temperature and moisture exposure typical for outdoor APs
• Power options: supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) to simplify outdoor installations

How to use

Mount the Ruckus T350c on a suitable outdoor structure, such as a pole or wall bracket, at a location that provides unobstructed coverage of the target area. Connect the unit to the network using an Ethernet cable and supply power via a compatible PoE source. Configure SSID, security settings and radio parameters through your network management system or local interface according to site requirements. Position the AP to minimise physical obstructions and to balance coverage with nearby access points.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, use shielded Ethernet cabling and weatherproof connectors, verify PoE power budget and configure transmit power to match coverage needs. Regularly inspect mounting hardware and seals to maintain weather resistance, and plan channel and capacity settings when deploying multiple APs to avoid co-channel interference.
