OWC Express 4M2 vier-slot USB4 (40Gb/s) externe behuizing met SoftRAID voor NVMe M.2 2230 / 2242 / 2280 SSD's

The OWC Express 4M2 is a high-performance four-slot external storage enclosure that leverages USB4 technology to deliver blazing-fast data transfer speeds of up to 40Gb/s. Designed for NVMe M.2 SSDs in 2230, 2242, and 2280 form factors, it provides a versatile and expandable storage solution for creative professionals, IT administrators, and power users. With included SoftRAID XT software, you can configure RAID 0, 1, 4, 5, 10, JBOD, or SPAN to optimize performance, data protection, or capacity. The aluminum enclosure ensures efficient heat dissipation, while an integrated fan maintains optimal operating temperatures. Daisy-chain support via Thunderbolt allows connection of multiple devices, and the enclosure can drive up to 8K displays through Thunderbolt daisy chain. The included external AC adapter provides reliable power, and a Kensington lock slot adds physical security.

Advantages

Unmatched speed with USB4 40Gb/s interface, backward compatible with Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C. Four independent NVMe M.2 slots support up to 32TB total capacity (8TB per slot). SoftRAID XT included for flexible RAID configurations without additional cost. Robust aluminum construction with active cooling ensures sustained performance. Thunderbolt daisy chain support simplifies connectivity and display output.
