Passieve infraroodsensor Ajax 13268 Draadloos Wand Wit montagebeugel inbegrepen

The MotionProtect Curtain is a narrow-beam indoor passive infrared motion detector designed to secure windows, doors and valuables by forming a focused detection curtain. The device is intended for wall mounting and comes with the necessary bracket for simple installation. It detects human presence using two PIR sensors and a multifaceted mirror, allowing precise detection while ignoring pets when installed correctly.

Advantages

The curtain-style optical system with two infrared sensors and a multifaceted mirror doubles the amount of information the detector receives about the protected area, improving detection accuracy. The detector reacts quickly to both fast and slow movement by analyzing signals from both PIR sensors and immediately sending alerts. Wireless radio communication with the hub works up to 1,700 meters in open space and uses the Jeweller two-way protocol with encryption; in case of interference the system can switch frequency and notify the user and the alarm response company. The detector continues operating at low temperatures down to -10°C, making it suitable for locations such as garages.

Suitable for

• Perimeter protection of rooms (windows and doors)
• Homes and apartments with pets
• Garages and cold indoor spaces (down to -10°C)
• Museums, galleries and exhibition areas to protect exhibits

Key specifications

• Type: Passive infrared (PIR) curtain motion detector
• Mounting: Wall mount (bracket included)
• Communication: Wireless, Jeweller two-way protocol
• Radio range: Up to 1,700 m (open space)
• Operating temperature: Down to -10°C
• Color / Finish: White

How to use

Mount the MotionProtect Curtain on a wall using the included bracket so that the narrow detection beam covers the line you want to protect (for example, along a window, door or a display case). Adjust the angle and height to create a continuous curtain at the required level; follow the manufacturer's installation guide for optimal pet immunity and avoidance of obstructions. Pair the detector with the Ajax hub using the Jeweller protocol and verify communications and battery status in the system app. Test the detection zone after installation and make any final alignment adjustments.

Recommendations

Place the detector at the correct height and angle to ensure the curtain crosses the intended access line. Avoid installing behind glass or close to heat sources; perform a walk-test to confirm reliable detection and pet immunity. For secure operation, keep the hub firmware updated and allow the system to switch frequencies if interference is detected.
