Patchkabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 1,5 m geel

The Equip Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 patch cable, 1.5 m in yellow, is built from quality materials and tested to meet industry standards. It provides higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, supporting reliable high-speed data transmission in demanding network environments. The cable uses RJ-45 connectors and S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and maintain stable connections.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving overall signal integrity. Cat.6 specification enables higher data rates and better margin for error correction. The 1.5 m length is convenient for typical patching between network equipment in racks or workstations. Bright yellow colour increases visibility for easier identification and cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in office or data centre environments
• High-speed Ethernet installations up to Cat6 performance
• Short runs between wall outlets and desktop equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6 S/FTP
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.0457 kg
• Brand: EQUIP
• MPN: 615562, EAN: 4015867234785

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For patch panel installations, insert connectors into the appropriate ports and label both ends if necessary for easy identification.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid exceeding recommended bend radii and keep the cable away from high-voltage lines and large power supplies. Use the 1.5 m length for short patching runs; for longer distances select a suitable longer-rated cable while maintaining Cat.6 standards.
