Patchkabel Equip Cat.6A S/FTP RJ-45 3m roze

The Equip Cat.6A S/FTP RJ-45 3m Pink patch cable is a 3.0 m network cable designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s. Constructed from quality materials with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, it reduces interference and ensures reliable connections in demanding network environments. The cable uses 10GBase-T cabling technology and is suitable for installations that require enhanced bandwidth and signal-to-noise performance.

Advantages

The Cat.6A S/FTP design provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, supporting stable 10 Gbps links. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 3 m length offers flexibility for typical rack-to-equipment or desk-to-switch connections while the pink colour helps with visual identification and cable management.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network connections and high-bandwidth switches
• Server racks, data centres and office network patching
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred
• Cable runs requiring visible colour coding for organisation

When it may not be suitable

This patch cable may not be necessary for networks that only require lower speeds (for example 1 Gbps or less) where Cat5e or Cat6 cables are sufficient. It is also not intended as a permanent in-wall or outdoor-rated cable unless the installation specifically permits the cable's construction and jacket type.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling standard: Cat.6A, S/FTP (shielded foil with braided shield per pair)
• Supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbps)
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Product colour: Pink
• Weight: 0.101 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or network interface) and the other plug to the destination port. Ensure both ports support the desired speed and that connectors are fully inserted until they click. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends, excessive tension and strong electromagnetic sources along the cable route.

What to consider before purchase

• Required network speed (verify if 10 Gbps is needed)
• Length needed for the specific connection and routing path
• Whether shielded cable is necessary in your environment to reduce interference
• Colour preference for cable identification and management

Recommendations

Use the Equip Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable for short to medium patch runs in racks and workstations where 10GBase-T performance and reduced interference are required; avoid installing it as permanent in-wall wiring unless the cable meets local building and fire codes.
