Plafondluidspreker Omnitronic CSR-8B, 8 Ω, 20 W, zwart

Omnitronic CSR-8B is a compact ceiling speaker designed for in-ceiling audio installations where discreet, space-saving sound is required. With an 8 Ω impedance and 20 W nominal power handling, the speaker provides clear background music and voice reproduction in commercial or residential environments. The black finish allows the unit to blend into darker ceilings and décor while delivering reliable performance for paging, public-address and ambient audio applications.

Advantages

The CSR-8B offers a low-profile design that integrates into ceilings with minimal visual impact. Its 8 Ω impedance and 20 W power handling make it compatible with common low-power amplifiers and distributed audio systems. The black housing reduces glare and visible contrast in dark interiors, and the construction is intended for stable, long-term ceiling installation.

How to use

Install the speaker into a suitable ceiling cut-out following standard in-ceiling mounting procedures and ensuring a secure mechanical fit. Connect the speaker to an amplifier or audio distribution system matched to an 8 Ω load and do not exceed the rated 20 W nominal power to avoid distortion or damage. Position speakers evenly across the coverage area for consistent sound levels and ensure wiring and connections comply with local electrical codes.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in background-music or paging applications, use low-distortion amplifiers rated for the cumulative load presented by multiple 8 Ω ceiling speakers. When installing multiple units, calculate total impedance and power per channel to maintain safe operating margins and even SPL distribution.
