PoE-camera Reolink P330P 4MP — nachtzicht, bewegingsdetectie

Reolink P330P is a PoE security camera with 4MP resolution designed for continuous video monitoring in indoor and outdoor environments. The camera combines a high-resolution sensor with night vision capabilities and motion detection to deliver clear daytime images, usable low-light footage and event-triggered recording. Power-over-Ethernet simplifies installation by delivering power and data over a single cable, making the camera suitable for fixed surveillance points such as entrances, parking areas or corridors.

Advantages

The camera provides 4MP imaging for increased detail compared with standard HD models, while integrated infrared illumination extends visibility after dark. Motion detection enables automated alerts and recording based on activity, reducing unnecessary storage use. PoE connectivity reduces cable clutter and simplifies setup, and weather-resistant housing allows reliable operation in exposed locations when mounted correctly.

Suitable for

• Continuous monitoring of entrances and access points
• Perimeter surveillance of small to medium outdoor areas
• Indoor monitoring of hallways, lobbies and storage rooms
• Integration into networked PoE recording systems and NVRs

Key specifications

• Image resolution: 4 megapixels for higher detail
• Connectivity: Power-over-Ethernet (single-cable power and data)
• Night vision: built-in infrared illumination for low-light recording
• Motion detection: configurable motion-triggered alerts and recordings
• Operating environment: suitable for indoor and outdoor installation when mounted according to guidelines

How to use

Install the camera at the desired surveillance point and connect it to a PoE switch or injector using a network cable that supports both power and data. Position the camera to cover the intended field of view and avoid direct bright light sources in the frame to reduce glare. Configure network settings and recording preferences via the camera’s management interface or compatible NVR software, and enable motion detection and notification options as required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, mount the camera at a stable height and angle to provide clear coverage of key areas, keep firmware up to date, and use a PoE switch that provides sufficient power for connected devices. Regularly check lens cleanliness and adjust motion detection sensitivity to balance between event capture and false positives.
