Power Extension Alantec PZ09U 1.8m 9 AC Outlets Indoor zwart

The Alantec PZ09U power extension provides nine AC outlets on a single strip with a 1.8 m cable for indoor use, delivering up to 16 A at 230 V. Its compact black housing is designed to accommodate multiple devices simultaneously while keeping power distribution organized in homes and offices. The unit does not include surge suppression features; it is intended as a power extension to expand the number of available mains sockets.

Advantages

The 1.8 m cable length allows flexible placement away from the wall socket while the nine outlets give capacity to power several devices without additional adapters. Rated for 16 A at 230 V, the extension strip supports typical household and office equipment loads. The black finish minimizes visual distraction and integrates with a range of interiors. The simple design focuses on reliable, straightforward power delivery and easy connection of multiple plugs.

Key specifications

How to use

Place the power extension on a stable, dry surface and plug its cable into a properly installed wall socket that matches the local mains specifications. Connect electrical devices to the available AC outlets, making sure the combined current draw does not exceed the 16 A rating. Position the cable to avoid tripping hazards and do not run it under rugs or through high-traffic areas. Disconnect the strip from the mains before cleaning or if any unusual heat or odor is detected.

Recommendations

Do not connect high-current appliances such as kettles, space heaters or large air conditioners if their combined load could exceed the extension strip's 16 A limit. For devices requiring surge protection or advanced safety features, use a dedicated surge protector or an outlet with built-in overload protection. Regularly inspect the cable and housing for damage and avoid daisy-chaining multiple extension strips.
