Powerline Wi‑Fi kit Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 6 next Multiroom 7195 — Wi‑Fi 6 mesh via het stopcontact

The WiFi Kit Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 6 next Multiroom 7195 is a powerline-based networking solution from Devolo designed to extend wired and wireless connectivity across a home or small office using existing electrical wiring. The kit combines powerline adapters with integrated Wi‑Fi 6 access points to deliver multiroom coverage and reduce dead zones where standard Wi‑Fi signals may be weak.

Advantages

This Devolo Magic 2 WiFi 6 next Multiroom kit offers a hybrid approach that uses the electrical circuit for stable backbone connections while providing Wi‑Fi 6 wireless access at adapter locations. The system supports multiple access points for consistent coverage across several rooms and simplifies setup by using plug‑and‑play installation and automatic network configuration. Built by Devolo, it is designed to integrate with existing home networks and devices without the need for new cabling.

Suitable for

• Extending Wi‑Fi coverage to rooms with weak signal
• Providing wired Ethernet connections via wall outlets for smart TVs, game consoles, or desktop PCs
• Multiroom streaming and general home internet access where consistent coverage is required
• Homes or small offices where running new network cabling is impractical

Key specifications

• Technology: Powerline networking with integrated Wi‑Fi 6 access points
• Wireless standard: Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) support at adapter locations
• Connectivity: Ethernet ports on adapters for wired devices; wireless multiroom coverage
• Installation: Plug‑and‑play through standard electrical outlets
• Coverage: Multiroom coverage depends on home electrical wiring and adapter placement

How to use

Plug one adapter into a wall outlet close to your router and connect it to the router using an Ethernet cable to establish the powerline backbone. Place the additional adapter(s) in outlets in rooms where improved Wi‑Fi or wired connections are needed; the adapters will automatically join the same network and provide Wi‑Fi 6 wireless access and Ethernet ports for devices. Use the Devolo app or web interface, if available for this model, to view network status and manage basic settings.

Recommendations

For best performance, plug adapters directly into wall outlets rather than into surge protectors or power strips, and distribute adapters across different rooms to create overlapping Wi‑Fi coverage. Position adapters away from heavy electrical equipment and large metal objects to minimize interference. Ensure the router and adapters are updated with the latest firmware using Devolo’s management tools.
