Refractor-telescoop Bresser Optics Automatik 80/400 Goto zwart

The Bresser Optics Automatik 80/400 Goto is a compact refractor telescope with an 80 mm aperture and 400 mm focal length. The telescope is supplied with a high-quality aperture solar filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planetary transits. Its lightweight aluminium construction and small size make it suitable for travel and outdoor observation while delivering clear, bright images of the Moon, planets and other celestial objects.

Advantages

The computerized Go-To system provides automatic alignment and navigation to more than 270,000 pre-programmed celestial objects, simplifying setup and target acquisition for beginners. The instrument offers a useful magnification range, stable tripod operation or desktop use, multilingual handbox menu and the included solar filter enables safe daytime solar observation in addition to night-time viewing.

Suitable for

• Beginner and hobby astronomy
• Travelling and outdoor observing (hiking, camping, vacations)
• Lunar and planetary observation
• Solar observation with supplied aperture solar filter
• Terrestrial and bird watching

Key specifications

• Optical design: refractor
• Aperture: 80 mm
• Focal length: 400 mm
• Magnification range (typical with included eyepieces): approximately 20× to 40×
• Mount: computer-controlled Go-To mount
• Object database: over 270,000 celestial objects
• Construction material: aluminium tube
• Operation: desktop or tripod (tripod included)
• Includes: high-quality aperture solar filter

How to use

Set the telescope on the included tripod or a stable table surface and attach the handbox to the mount. Power the unit, follow the guided alignment procedure on the multilingual handbox menu and perform the required star or solar alignment step. After alignment, select a target from the built-in database or enter coordinates; the Go-To system will automatically slew the telescope to the chosen object. Use the focus knob to sharpen the image and change eyepieces if higher or lower magnification is needed. For solar observation, always install the supplied aperture solar filter securely before pointing the telescope at the Sun.

Recommendations

Operate the telescope on a stable surface and allow the optics to reach ambient temperature before detailed observations. Always use the supplied solar filter for any solar viewing and never look at the Sun through the telescope without the filter. Store the instrument in a dry place and verify the handbox firmware and batteries regularly for reliable Go-To performance.
