Reflector Bresser Optics Solarix 18x zwart zilver

The Bresser Optics Solarix Reflector 76/350 is a compact Newtonian telescope designed for safe solar, daytime and night-sky observations. The package includes the optical tube, an azimuthal mount with aluminium tripod, a CE-certified objective solar filter, two eyepieces, two Barlow lenses, a smartphone holder bracket and software with a moon chart. With a focal length of 350 mm and a 76 mm aperture the instrument delivers practical magnification range and is ready for immediate use.

Advantages

The telescope comes with a special objective solar filter that blocks harmful infrared, ultraviolet and excess visible radiation and is independently tested and CE-certified for safe solar viewing. The complete accessory set and clear manual allow fast setup and straightforward use. A smartphone holder bracket enables simple cellphone photography through the eyepiece. The compact 76 mm tube and included azimuth mount offer portable, versatile operation for solar and celestial observing.

Suitable for

• Safe visual observations of the Sun (with included CE-certified filter)
• Amateur astronomical observing of the Moon and bright planets
• Daytime terrestrial viewing
• Basic astrophotography using a smartphone through the eyepiece

How to use

Set up the aluminium tripod on stable ground and mount the azimuthal head. Attach the optical tube to the mount and secure the spreader bar and eyepiece holders. Always fit the CE-certified solar objective filter to the front of the telescope before pointing at the Sun; never use the telescope for solar observations without the filter. Insert one of the supplied eyepieces and, if desired, a Barlow lens to change magnification. Use the azimuthal controls to centre the target. For smartphone photos, fix the phone in the supplied holder and align its camera with the eyepiece.

Recommendations

Inspect the solar filter before each use for scratches or damage and store it away from direct sunlight when not in use. Do not look at the Sun through the telescope without the certified filter fitted. For best results when imaging with a smartphone, use a steady tripod surface and fine-tune focus using the telescope's focuser while the phone is aligned.
