ROLINE Cat.6 S/FTP-patchkabel, PoE, grijs, 2 m (21.51.0833)

High-performance Cat.6 patch cable with S/FTP shielding (PiMF) for reliable Gigabit Ethernet and PoE applications. Each pair is individually wrapped in metal foil, and an overall braided shield provides superior protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk. The grey LSZH jacket is halogen-free, low-smoke, and flame-retardant, making it ideal for use in offices, data centers, and public buildings. With stranded copper conductors (AWG 27/7) and gold-plated RJ45 connectors, this 2-meter cable ensures stable, high-speed connections for PCs, switches, routers, and patch panels.

Advantages

S/FTP (PiMF) shielding delivers excellent signal integrity, even in electrically noisy environments. The cable supports Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+, PoE++) to power devices like IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points without separate power supplies. Its LSZH jacket emits very low smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire, enhancing safety. The stranded conductors provide flexibility for easy routing in tight spaces, while the gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain reliable connectivity over time.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (10/100/1000 Mbps) and short-distance 10GBASE-T links
• Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+, PoE++) devices such as IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones
• Office, data center, and industrial environments with high EMI
• Installations requiring halogen-free, low-smoke cabling (e.g., public buildings, hospitals)
• Connecting computers, switches, routers, modems, and patch panels

Recommendations

For maximum performance, pair this cable with ROLINE Cat.6 shielded patch panels and keystone jacks. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling to preserve the shielding and conductor integrity. Use cable ties or management clips to maintain neat installations. Test connections with a cable certifier to ensure compliance with Cat.6 standards.
