Netwerkkabel S/CONN 75717-S zwart 7,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75717-S Black 7.5m Cat6a S/FTP is a 7.5-metre Ethernet cable built to support high-speed, stable network connections. Compliant with Cat6a specifications and featuring S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair) construction, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and maintains signal integrity across longer runs. RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide consistent electrical contact and corrosion resistance, while the black outer sheath offers a discreet appearance for residential and professional installations.

Advantages

Designed to meet Cat6a performance, this cable supports elevated bandwidth and improved crosstalk protection compared with lower-category cables. The S/FTP shielding combines overall foil shielding with individually shielded pairs, lowering susceptibility to external noise sources and preserving data throughput. Gold-plated RJ-45 terminations enhance contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time. The 7.5 m length balances reach and manageability for typical desk-to-switch or rack-to-equipment connections.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between computers, switches, routers and networked devices
• High-bandwidth applications including video streaming, VoIP and large file transfers
• Home offices, corporate networks, server rooms and small data closets
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 metres
• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Color: black

How to use

Route the cable between network endpoints avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks to maintain signal performance. Insert RJ-45 connectors fully into corresponding ports on devices until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. For installations near potential sources of interference, orient the cable to minimize parallel runs with power lines and separate it from heavy electrical equipment where possible. Test the link after installation using network diagnostics or a cable tester to verify continuity and performance.
