Netwerkkabel zwart 15 m S/CONN 75725-S

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable Black 15 m S/CONN 75725-S is a 15 metre Cat6a patch cable designed for high-speed wired network connections. It features S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signals and reduce interference in demanding network environments. The black jacket provides a professional, unobtrusive appearance suitable for visible installations in homes, offices, or data cabinets.

Advantages

S/FTP (S-STP) shielding around each pair combined with an overall foil shield improves protection against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, supporting stable gigabit and 10 Gbps-capable links where cabling and equipment meet specifications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance conductivity and resist corrosion for consistent electrical contact over time. The 15 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms without additional couplers, and the Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and improved crosstalk performance compared with lower-category cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops, switches and routers in home and office networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Structured cabling runs in small server rooms and network cabinets
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (S-STP) — overall shield plus individually shielded twisted pairs
• Length: 15 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs on both ends
• Contacts: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Jacket colour: Black
• Supported data rates: Suitable for gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gbps over appropriate channel lengths

How to use

Route the cable between network devices avoiding tight bends, sharp edges and sources of strong electromagnetic noise such as large transformers or unshielded power lines. Insert RJ-45 plugs fully into matching Ethernet ports until the latch clicks to ensure secure connections. If running the cable through conduits or around corners, maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cabling and avoid stretching the jacket. Test the link after installation with network diagnostic tools or a cable tester to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair this Cat6a S/FTP cable with shielded network equipment or ensure proper grounding of the shield. Keep cable runs within recommended distances for 10 Gbps links, and avoid placing the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.
