Samyang 35mm F1.4 Samsung NX vast brandpunt

For Samsung NX photographers who demand uncompromising optical quality, the Samyang 35mm F1.4 stands apart from typical kit zooms with its exceptionally fast maximum aperture and meticulously corrected design. This manual-focus prime delivers a classic 35mm field of view on APS-C, making it a versatile choice for environmental portraits, street scenes, and low-light storytelling.

Highlights

• Bright f/1.4 aperture for shallow depth of field and low-light performance
• 12 elements in 10 groups, including 2 aspherical and 2 high-refractive-index elements
• Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC) to suppress flare and ghosting
• 8-blade diaphragm for smooth, circular bokeh
• Durable metal construction with a detachable petal-type hood

In daily use

The 35mm focal length on APS-C offers a natural perspective that closely matches the human eye, making it ideal for documentary work and everyday photography. Manual focus is precise and well-damped, with a generous focus throw that allows fine adjustments. The f/1.4 aperture not only excels in dim conditions but also creates beautiful subject separation, while the UMC coating ensures contrast and colour fidelity even against strong light sources.
