Satellietschotel Schwaiger SPI2080 011 grijs

The Schwaiger SPI2080 011 Grey satellite antenna is a 78 cm diameter parabolic dish constructed from aluminium and finished in a neutral grey. Designed for reception of satellite television signals, the antenna combines a compact footprint with a sturdy build to provide stable performance in domestic and small commercial installations. Its aluminium body offers a balance of strength and reduced weight, while the reflective parabolic surface is configured to focus signals to a compatible LNB for reliable reception.

Advantages

This satellite antenna is built from durable aluminium to resist deformation and minimise corrosion, which helps maintain signal quality over time. The 78 cm reflector size delivers a balance between signal gain and ease of installation, suitable for areas with moderate to good satellite signal strength. The grey finish is neutral and unobtrusive on façades and rooftops. The antenna’s design supports straightforward mounting and alignment, reducing installation time and allowing stable reception in variable weather conditions.

Suitable for

• Residential rooftop or balcony satellite TV reception
• Small commercial sites such as cafés, waiting areas or small offices
• Replacement of existing medium-sized satellite dishes
• Temporary installations for events or mobile setups with stable mounting

Key specifications

• Reflector diameter: 78 cm
• Material: aluminium reflector and support components
• Colour: grey finish
• Design: parabolic dish for single-LNB mounting
• Suitable reception: satellite TV frequency bands via compatible LNB
• Mounting: mast or wall-compatible bracket (mounting hardware may vary)

How to use

Install the antenna on a suitably rigid mast or wall bracket with an unobstructed view of the southern/skyward horizon toward the desired satellite position. Attach a compatible LNB to the feed arm and connect coaxial cable from the LNB to the satellite receiver. Use an inclinometer or satellite-finding tool and fine-adjust azimuth and elevation to achieve optimum signal strength and quality. Secure all fasteners and weatherproof cable connections to protect against moisture. Periodically inspect the dish and mount for alignment and corrosion, and re-tighten connections after severe weather.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair the 78 cm dish with a low-noise LNB rated for the required frequency bands and ensure the installation location has minimal obstructions. In areas with weak satellite signal, consider a larger dish or professional alignment. Regularly check mounts and cable seals to preserve signal quality and prolong service life.
