Scheppach IXES elektrische bodemfrees IX-EH38 1050W 360mm werkbreedte 220mm werkdiepte 39123139978

For gardeners preparing vegetable beds, flower borders, or renovating a lawn, the Scheppach IXES Electric Tiller IX-EH38 turns compacted soil into a crumbly, plant-ready seedbed. Its 1050 W electric motor drives four robust tines to a working depth of 220 mm, while the 360 mm working width lets you cover ground efficiently without the noise, fumes, or maintenance of a petrol tiller.

Key specifications

• Power: 1050 W electric motor
• Working width: 360 mm
• Working depth: 220 mm
• Tine diameter: 205 mm
• Number of tines: 4
• No-load speed: 380 rpm

• Handle: Ergonomic, foldable

Why choose it

The IX-EH38 combines a compact, foldable design with enough power for serious soil cultivation. The ergonomic handle reduces strain during longer sessions, and the electric drive means no fuel mixing or pull-starting—just plug in and till. Its 360 mm width strikes a balance between manoeuvrability in tight beds and productivity in open ground.

Ideal use cases

• Breaking new ground for vegetable or flower beds
• Weeding between rows and around established plants
• Mixing compost or fertiliser into the topsoil
• Preparing seedbeds in spring or autumn

Good to know

The tiller runs on a standard 230 V household socket. Its foldable handle makes storage easier in sheds or garages. For best results, work in slightly moist soil and avoid stones larger than the tine clearance.
