Schroef Cimco 19 0910, verzinkt staal M8 x 40 mm

Cimco 19 0910 is a galvanized steel screw with an M8 connecting thread and a length of 40 mm. It is intended for general fastening tasks and provides corrosion resistance due to galvanization. The screw is suitable for use with matching nuts or tapped holes to join metal or wood components in household repairs, furniture assembly and light construction.

Advantages

The galvanized steel construction improves corrosion resistance for indoor and sheltered outdoor applications. The M8 thread and 40 mm length offer reliable engagement with nuts or pre-tapped holes. A flat head design allows the screw to sit close to the surface when tightened.

How to use

Select a compatible nut or pre-tapped hole sized for M8 thread. If joining wood, pre-drill a pilot hole appropriate for the screw diameter to avoid splitting. Insert the screw and tighten with the correct driver or wrench until the head sits flush or as required by the application. For metal-to-metal connections use matching nuts or tapped holes and apply appropriate torque for the materials involved.

Recommendations

For best corrosion resistance, avoid prolonged exposure to highly aggressive outdoor environments; use additional protective measures if necessary. Ensure the screw length and thread engagement are appropriate for the combined thickness of the joined parts.
