Schroef cimco 190412 — verzinkt metaal, 16 mm lengte, 3,5 mm schroefdraaddiameter, voor plaatwerk, 1 stuk

Single galvanized metal screw cimco 190412 designed for joining sheet metal. This 16 mm long screw has a 3.5 mm thread diameter and a corrosion-resistant zinc coating that increases durability in indoor and mildly exposed environments. Supplied as one piece, it is intended for repair, assembly and mounting of metal panels and light sheet constructions where a short fastener is required.

Advantages

The galvanized finish provides basic corrosion protection for applications in non-aggressive environments and helps extend service life compared to untreated fasteners. Its 16 mm length and 3.5 mm thread diameter make the screw suitable for thin sheet materials and overlapping metal panels while reducing the risk of protrusion. The single-piece supply enables targeted replacement or small repair jobs without excess packaging.

How to use

Select an appropriate pilot hole or self-drilling application based on the sheet thickness and substrate. Position the screw through the overlapping sheets or component to be joined, then drive with a compatible screwdriver or powered driver at moderate speed to avoid stripping the head or deforming the material. Ensure the screw head sits flush without over-tightening to maintain sealing properties and to prevent damage to thin metal panels.

Recommendations

For best results, use with washers or sealing elements when fastening to thin or perforated sheets exposed to wet conditions. Avoid use in highly corrosive environments; for outdoor marine or chemically aggressive locations select fasteners with higher-grade corrosion resistance. Keep a small stock of identical screws for matching repairs and replace any damaged or corroded fasteners promptly.
