Schroef cimco 190119 — verzinkt metaal, 35 mm lengte, 5 mm schroefdraaddiameter, voor vezelplaten, 1 stuk

The cimco 190119 screw is a single galvanized metal fastener designed for securing fibreboard panels and similar materials. It has a total length of 35 mm and a 5 mm thread diameter, intended for use where a standard coarse thread and moderate penetration are required. Supplied as one piece, this screw provides a corrosion-resistant option for assembly and repair tasks in interior applications and furniture construction where compatibility with fibreboard is important.

Advantages

The galvanized metal finish provides basic corrosion resistance suitable for indoor environments and areas with occasional humidity. Its 35 mm length and 5 mm thread diameter offer reliable holding power in fibreboard without excessive splitting when pre-drilling or pilot holes are used as appropriate. Being a single-piece pack allows buyers to obtain an exact quantity for small repairs or replacements. The screw’s geometry is adapted for fastening panel materials and aligns with common hand and power driver bits for straightforward installation.

Key specifications

How to use

Select an appropriate driver bit that matches the screw head and position the fibreboard panels to be joined. Where recommended for the thickness and type of fibreboard, drill a pilot hole to reduce splitting and to ensure correct alignment. Drive the screw straight into the panel using a hand screwdriver or low-speed power driver, applying steady pressure until the head sits flush or at the desired countersink depth. For repeatable results, ensure the driver torque is set to avoid overdriving in thin or brittle panels.

Recommendations

For best results, use a pilot hole when working near edges or with thin fibreboard to prevent splitting. Match the driver bit to the screw head to avoid cam-out. Store the screw dry and use it in indoor or sheltered applications to maintain the effectiveness of the galvanized coating.
