Duimstok Cimco 210008 glasvezel kunststof 2 m

The Cimco 210008 folding ruler made of fiberglass and plastic provides a compact, portable solution for accurate metric measurements up to 2 meters. Its rigid fiberglass segments combined with plastic joints create a lightweight yet stable measuring tool with clear centimeter graduations. The folding design allows the ruler to be carried easily in a toolbox or pocket and deployed quickly for tasks that require linear measurement or layout work.

Advantages

Fiberglass construction offers resistance to bending, moisture and temperature-related deformation, while plastic joints reduce overall weight and ensure smooth folding action. Clear metric markings printed on each segment enable precise reading in centimeters. The 2 m total length gives a balance between reach and compactness when folded, making the tool suitable for on-site measuring, carpentry, tiling and general maintenance tasks.

How to use

Unfold the ruler by extending the segments until they lock into a straight line for measurement, then place the ruler along the object or surface to read the centimeter graduations. For shorter distances fold back unused segments and use the visible markings to obtain the desired dimension. After use, fold the ruler back along its joints for compact storage. Handle the joints gently to maintain alignment and avoid forcing segments beyond their intended angle.

Recommendations

Store the folding ruler in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat to preserve the fiberglass and printed markings. Clean with a soft cloth if dusty and avoid abrasive cleaners. Use the tool on flat surfaces for highest accuracy and check the ruler periodically for wear or loose joints to ensure reliable measurements.
