Afgeschermde Cat6 keystone inline-koppelaar 8-delige set, EQUIP — plat model, RJ-45, 17×35,5×24,4 mm, zilver

The Shielded Cat6 Keystone Inline Coupler is a compact solution for connecting or extending Cat6 Ethernet cables in structured cabling installations. Supplied as an 8-piece set from EQUIP, each silver coupler features a flat, shielded housing and two RJ-45 female ports, providing Cat6 performance and protection against electromagnetic interference for stable Gigabit Ethernet connections. The keystone form factor is compatible with standard keystone wall plates and patch panels, facilitating straightforward installation in both home and professional networks.

Advantages

The shielded metal housing reduces EMI and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with electrical noise. Snap-in mounting and standard keystone dimensions enable quick installation into compatible wall plates and patch panels. Gold-flashed contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance, while the flat construction allows use in space-constrained or low-profile setups. The set format (8 pcs) is suitable for multiple ports or larger installations.

Suitable for

• Extending or linking Cat6 patch cables inline
• Installation in keystone wall plates and patch panels
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference (EMI)
• Home networks, small offices and professional structured cabling

How to use

Insert the coupler into a compatible keystone opening on a wall plate or patch panel until it snaps into place. Plug RJ-45 male connectors from two Cat6 patch cables into the female ports on either side of the coupler to create an inline connection. Ensure cables are fully seated and avoid sharp bends near the connector to preserve cable performance. For in-line usage without a plate, use the coupler as a free-standing inline joiner while maintaining a secure environment to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, use Cat6-compliant cables and maintain proper cable management to minimize stress and preserve shielding continuity. Avoid exposing the coupler to moisture or corrosive environments; in high-EMI areas, verify shield continuity through proper grounding of the system.
